Alkagesta says it has completed its first truck-to-vessel marine fuel delivery in Constanța, Romania, supplying 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil using two trucks on 2 October 2026. The operation introduces truck-to-vessel supply to its Romanian distribution capabilities, according to a company announcement. This brief draws on first-party information from Alkagesta, a disclosed network partner.
The company presented the delivery as part of its expansion in Romanian and Black Sea energy markets. It said Romania had become increasingly important to its regional petroleum products and biofuels business during 2026. The announcement identifies the Constanța delivery as a first operation, rather than providing a schedule or volume target for subsequent truck-to-vessel supplies.
Elsewhere in Europe, Alkagesta said it had gained access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System earlier in 2026 and begun delivering Jet A1 to the European aviation market. The company described those deliveries as taking place amid acute pressure on aviation fuel supply, with greater military use of the pipeline creating additional complications for civilian distribution. These developments formed part of the wider commercial expansion cited alongside the Romanian operation.
In biofuels, Alkagesta reported a multi-year storage agreement at Pantank in Antwerp and a separate five-year offtake agreement for used cooking oil feedstock. The company said the arrangements strengthened its role in the European biofuels supply chain. The announcement did not specify the storage capacity covered by the Pantank agreement or the contracted volume of used cooking oil.
Alkagesta also cited activity in Asian energy markets, saying its Singapore hub reached marine fuel trading volumes of approximately 250,000 metric tonnes a month during its first full year of operation. It reported completing its first crude oil transactions during the period, including end-to-end delivery of approximately 1.07 million barrels to the Far East. Separately, the company described its fertiliser desk as operating amid substantial supply-chain disruption and pressures on global agricultural food security.
